Once we approve a refund we send it back to PayHere the same working day. From there the timing sits with the banks.
Typical timings
- Local debit and credit cards: 5 to 10 working days
- Foreign cards: 10 to 15 working days
- Mobile wallets: usually 3 to 5 working days
Things worth knowing
- Refunds always go back to the original payment method. We cannot send a card refund to a wallet or to a different card.
- A refund may appear as a reversal against the original charge rather than as a new incoming line, so check the original transaction date as well as recent activity.
- Weekends and public holidays do not count as working days.
